The first teambuilding in the new year was in the style of rest and relaxation in the heart of beautiful Slovak nature.
We had booked accommodation in a picturesque village near the ski resort Donovaly. The chalet was huge and provided enough space and privacy for 20 people from AMCEF. Once again, we gathered in large numbers, including our colleagues from the East.
On Friday around noon we started out with the idea that we would all meet at the lodge who would come when. The hut gradually filled up not only with our colleagues, but also with the good mood that everyone brought with them. We were all especially looking forward to Katka, who was carrying 20 liters of fantastic homemade goulash in her car. Friday evening was spent in long dialogues, playing board games, having fun in the game room but also relaxing in the wellness area, which was part of the cottage. Everyone was very much in favour of relaxing after a long journey in the saunas or sitting in a tub full of hot water with colleagues until the morning.
On Saturday morning, or rather at noon, after a stormy and almost sleepless night, we went to the ski resort, where Milan paid for ski passes for all of us and we spent the whole afternoon there. The other smaller group decided to conquer the hiking trails in sweatpants in the snow 🙂 A few of us stayed at the chalet to relax and enjoy the almost empty spa. Our colleague Tomas and his girlfriend decided to surprise us with a fantastic meal, for which we were very grateful after a hard day on the slopes and in nature. The evening program was once again varied and boisterous, but we all had fun and enjoyed ourselves.
Sunday was the day of departure, so we spent the whole morning packing up and sort of cleaning the hut. Some of us were exhausted again, so Milan paid for us to enter the beautiful Gothal spa where we all relaxed together one last time. Hot after the meal, Milan then invited us to a big lunch together.
Later in the afternoon, we gradually began to disperse in the groups we came in. We all said our goodbyes and left with a nice smile on our faces and a head full of funny experiences. We are already looking forward to see what else Milan will come up with for us 😊
