The first team building in the new year was held in the style of rest and relaxation in the heart of the beautiful Slovak nature.
We had booked accommodation in a picturesque village near the Donovaly ski resort. The cottage was huge and provided enough space and privacy for 20 people from AMCEF. Once again we gathered in large numbers, including our colleagues from the east.
On Friday around lunchtime, we set off with the idea that we would all meet at the cottage no matter who comes. The cottage was gradually filled not only with our colleagues, but also with the good mood that everyone brought with them. We were all especially looking forward to Katka, who was carrying 20 liters of fantastic homemade goulash in the car. We spent Friday evening in long dialogues, playing board games, having fun in the game room, but also relaxing in the wellness area that was part of the cottage. Everyone found it very convenient to relax after a long journey in the saunas or sit until the morning with colleagues in a bathtub full of hot water.
On Saturday morning, or better said at lunch, after a stormy and almost sleepless night, we went to the ski resort, where Milan paid us all ski passes and we spent the whole afternoon there. The second smaller group decided to tackle hiking trails in sweatpants in the snow 🙂 A few of us stayed at the cottage to relax and enjoy the almost empty wellness. Our colleague Tomáš and his girlfriend decided to surprise us with a fantastic meal, for which we were very grateful after a hard day on the slopes and in nature. The evening program was once again varied and boisterous, but we all had fun and enjoyed it.
Sunday was the day of departure, so we spent the whole morning packing and cleaning the cottage. Some of us were exhausted again, so Milan paid for us to enter the beautiful Gothal wellness center, where we all relaxed together one last time. After the meal, Milan invited us to a big lunch together.
Later in the afternoon, we gradually began to separate in the groups in which we arrived. We all said goodbye and left with a nice smile on our faces and a head full of funny experiences. We are already looking forward to what Milan will come up with for us 😊
