Job description

  • Requirements analysis (technical and business analysis)
  • Client orientation
  • Preparation of quotations
  • Solution architecture design (technologies, modules, integrations, infrastructure, ...)
  • Preparation of specifications and acceptance criteria for contracts
  • Preparation and redistribution of tasks
  • Capacity planning, milestones, ...
  • Management of teams
  • Software Acceptance Testing
  • Review merge requests
  • Oversight of project budgets
  • Occasional DevOps task solving (experience with AWS/Azure is welcome)

Requirements

  • Programming experience min. 4 years.
  • At least 2 years of real-world experience managing programming teams.
  • Experience in designing software solutions (also working with Enterprise Architect or others).
  • Experience in preparing business documents and technical documents.
  • Ability to estimate the difficulty of implementation.
  • Communicative and able to express your opinion.
  • Ability to communicate technical details directly with the client (or client's CTO).
  • Knowledge of Version Control tool.
  • Experience with Jira or other management tool.
  • Technical background - graduate/student of an IT-focused school.
  • Be willing to travel to the client (Slovakia, Czech Republic) from time to time.
  • Knowledge of English (min. B2 - both written and verbal).
  • A proactive approach to learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Certificates are an advantage that could help us win public tenders, but it is not a requirement.

 

This position is not suitable for candidates without at least 5 years of IT experience, ideally as a programmer, software architect/analyst, IT project manager.
